Self-exploration is a process of introspection and reflection that aims to increase one’s self-awareness and understanding of one’s own thoughts.
Mindfulness is a psychological concept that involves paying attention to the present moment with an open and curious attitude. It can help us improve our mental wellbeing, cope with stress and anxiety, and enjoy life more fully. It can also be practised through formal meditation sessions or informal moments throughout the day.
Meditation is a practice that involves focusing one’s attention on a single object, thought, sensation, or activity. Meditation can be classified into two main types: concentrative and mindfulness. Concentrative meditation involves narrowing one’s awareness to a specific point of focus, such as a mantra, a breath, a sound, or a visual image. Mindfulness meditation involves expanding one’s awareness to the present moment, without judging or reacting to any thoughts, feelings, or sensations that arise.
Personal resilience is the ability to cope with stress and adversity, and to bounce back from difficult situations. It is not a fixed trait that some people have and others do not, but rather a dynamic process that can be learned and developed over time.
Wellbeing is a multidimensional concept that encompasses various aspects of human flourishing, such as happiness, meaning, satisfaction, and health. Self-transcendence is a psychological state that involves going beyond one’s personal boundaries and ego, and connecting with something greater than oneself, such as nature, humanity, spirituality, or a higher purpose.
Vulnerability is often seen as a sign of weakness or fragility, but it can also be a catalyst for self-transcendence. Self-transcendence is the ability to go beyond one’s ego and connect with something greater than oneself, such as a higher purpose, a universal value, or a spiritual reality. Vulnerability can facilitate self-transcendence by creating an opportunity for growth, learning, and transformation.
